VANCOUVER – The city of Vancouver is seeking local parks and recreation enthusiasts to fill two vacancies on its Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission (PRAC). Applications must be submitted by Sept. 13.

Commissioners serve three-year terms. PRAC meets from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month at Vancouver City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St., and occasional special meetings. All meetings are currently being held as a hybrid with options for in-person and virtual participation.
To serve on the PRAC, applicants must live within the Vancouver City limits and be available for a virtual or phone interview with the Vancouver Mayor on a date to be determined.
