Thirty-one local heroes, whose names adorn the wall of the memorial, will be remembered with a reading of their names
A Memorial Day ceremony will be held on Monday (May 30), honoring members of the U.S. Armed Forces who lost their lives in service to our country. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. at the Battle Ground Veterans Memorial located at Kiwanis Park, 422 SW 2nd Avenue in Battle Ground.
Thirty-one local heroes, whose names adorn the wall of the memorial, will be remembered with a reading of their names.
“These brave individuals are an important part of our community and our history. On behalf of the City Council, it is our honor to commemorate their valor during this year’s ceremony.” said Mayor Philip Johnson.
