The Camas School District Board of Directors is pleased to announce they have selected four candidates to interview for their superintendent vacancy. The candidates selected for interviews are:
• Dr. John Anzalone; currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent – Education Services Division at Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada. Enrollment: 320,000 students.
• Heidi Harris; currently serves as Assistant Superintendent – Student Learning at Auburn School District in Auburn, Washington. Enrollment: 17,065 students.
• Michelle Kuss-Cybula; currently serves as the Superintendent at Cle Elum-Roslyn School District in Cle Elum, Washington. Enrollment: 849 students.
• Dr. Charlene Williams; currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent at the Camas School District in Camas, Washington. Enrollment: 7,045 students.
Interviews are scheduled to be conducted on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Numerous stakeholder groups and the public will have opportunities to get to know the candidates and submit input to the Board about each candidate. On Dec. 1 by 6:30 p.m., the Board will present the candidates via recorded video to the public (bit.ly/camassb). The public will then have the opportunity to offer feedback to the board about each candidate by completing surveys.

Camas School District retained the services of McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. to assist in conducting their search. The consultant reviewed, screened, and conducted extensive background checks on 17 applicants from across the country. In a special meeting on November 16, the consultant presented the applicants to the Board and provided detailed background information on each applicant.
