RedDoor Gallery in downtown Camas is ringing in a new year with artful events during the month of January. This month’s events include a swanky First Friday Art Walk reception, a Mid-Week Mixer on Wednesday, Jan. 8 and a Winter Art Market on Friday, Jan. 24.
The public is invited to view original works of art by 15 fabulous artists at a special First Friday Art Walk reception on Friday, January 3 from 5-8 p.m. The reception features complimentary refreshments, delicious charcuterie and RedDoor Gallery’s signature chocolate truffles. Enter to win an original oil on small format canvas by local artist Liz Pike in a special drawing to be held at 7:30 p.m. that evening. No purchase is necessary to enter and win.

The following week, RedDoor Gallery is teaming up with the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce to host a popular Mid-Week Mixer on Wednesday, January 8 from 4-6 p.m. This is an opportunity to stop into RedDoor Gallery and meet local business owners.
“As the current President of the C-W Chamber of Commerce, it’s an honor to welcome local businesses along with the public to RedDoor Gallery,” said Liz Pike, one of the artist/owners at RedDoor Gallery. “Enjoy complimentary charcuterie and beverages as you view two floors of vibrant art on display,” added Pike.
Also on tap is a special Winter Art Market Celebration on Friday, January 24 from 5-7 p.m. Meet represented gallery artists, find out what inspires them and enjoy RedDoor Gallery’s classic hospitality. For the next several months, RedDoor Gallery is planning a special Art Market Celebration on the fourth Friday of each month. Stay tuned for more details about this event and a new collaboration called Art & Beauty Bash at Keller Med Spa and Laser along with RedDoor Gallery on Thursday, February 6 from 4-7 p.m. The Art & Beauty Bash will be held simultaneously at both businesses, Keller Med Spa & Laser, 715 NE Fifth Avenue and two blocks away at RedDoor Gallery, 411 NE Dallas Street in downtown Camas.
“We invite the public to attend this free event to experience both art and beauty at two locations, located just a few blocks from each other,” said Pike.

RedDoor Gallery is located in the historic building at 411 NE Dallas Street in downtown Camas and features new work each month by artists Sarah Bang, Shirley Bishop, Kimmie Burmaster, Matthew Clarkson, Heidi Curley, Cheryl Folkers, Wendy Davis, Dave Garbot, Gail Harrington, Cheryl Mathieson, Liz Pike, Tamra Sheline, Catherine Snyder and George Throop.
