Suspect in Heritage Bank robbery not yet apprehended
VANCOUVER — A robbery attempt occurred at the Heritage Bank off SE 164th Avenue in Vancouver Wednesday.
The suspect is reported to be a white male of medium build, who has not been arrested at this time, according to Kim Kapp, the public information officer for Vancouver Police Department, (VPD).
The suspect reportedly entered the bank and demanded an unknown amount of money from a teller before fleeing the scene. No weapons were reported.
VPD deployed a K9 unit as well as notified the FBI, and detectives have been assigned to the case, Kapp said. This is the second robbery attempt at this bank location in the last two months.
