Chief Bob Richardson will share information and field questions
BATTLE GROUND — Battle Ground Police Chief Bob Richardson invites community members to join him for the next session of Coffee with the Chief on Mon., Nov. 13 from 5:30-7 p.m.
This session will take place at the Battle Ground Police Department located at 507 SW 1st Street, and will include a tour of the station.
Coffee with the Chief meetings provide an opportunity for an open dialogue between Chief Richardson and the community in a friendly and informal setting. Chief Richardson shares information on current law enforcement-related topics and participants have the opportunity to ask questions or discuss other police-related matters of interest.
At this session, the chief will talk about the challenges the police department faces in meeting expected levels of service in a rapidly growing city, and the efforts to mitigate those challenges. Traffic enforcement is one such challenge; City Engineer Mark Herceg will join Chief Richardson as they share information on this important issue from both a law enforcement and transportation perspective.
Light snacks and beverages will be served. There is no pre-registration and community members of all ages are welcome to attend. For questions about this session of Coffee with the Chief, contact the department at (360) 342-5310.
