The 26,400-square-foot clinic is the tenth Clark County location for the healthcare provider
VANCOUVER — On Tuesday, Oct. 20, Vancouver Clinic will open a brand new location at 4500 SE Columbia Palisades Drive, Camas (off SE 192nd Avenue, SR 14 exit 10).
The 2-story, 26,400-square-foot clinic will offer internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, ophthalmology and a vision center for eye exams plus hundreds of stylish frames.
“We purchased the land for this building as soon as it became available and we’re excited to be the first business to open in the Columbia Palisades development,” said Chief Executive Officer Mark Mantei. “East Clark County is growing and we are excited to be part of this expanding community.”
This location will make clinic number 10 and Vancouver Clinic’s sixth with a dedicated urgent care.
The provider also has urgent care locations in Ridgefield, Battle Ground, Salmon Creek, and at 87th Avenue and Columbia Tech Center in Vancouver. Hours for urgent care are 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. on weekends and most holidays. Full lab, imaging and radiology services are onsite.
Walk-ins are welcome in urgent care. To view the current walk-in status, visit tvc.org, schedule online or call 360-882-2778 for urgent care, primary care, and vision appointments.
“Most of the providers who will work at this location are new to Vancouver Clinic and Clark County,” said Dr. Alfred Seekamp, Chief Medical Officer. “This clinic brings primary care closer to where some people live and work but also offers the entire community capacity for new patients who have not been able to access services in the past because we’ve had long waits to schedule.”
Despite the pandemic, the project is finishing ahead of schedule and below budget.
The project team included Day CPM, ZGF Architects and Andersen Construction. Studio Art Direct designed the art program for the building. Local photographer Oca Hoeflein captured a panoramic of the Columbia River Gorge, which will be installed later this month.
Other local artists featured include Donna Young who has an original oil on panel piece installed behind registration. Susan Freedman has original encaustics in the galleria spaces. Anisa Asakawa, Cathleen Rehfield, Ellen Dittebrandt and Sarah Bouwsma also have artwork featured.
