Vice Beer + BCVHS Launch Album, Arcade Game & Collaboration Beer This Weekend

My new album From Beyond releases Friday alongside FROM BEYOND: ARCADE EDITION, a full standalone Space Invaders-inspired arcade game on Steam built around the record. The game is the way the album is meant to be experienced—the music tells the story of an alien invasion unfolding during a 1986 radio broadcast, while each song transforms the game world and moves the story forward.

The game is being released by Turbo Intercept Interactive, an indie game studio created by me and game developer Ben Trinklein.

Vice created a collaboration beer called Lupulin Overdrive for the project, and we're celebrating the release at Vice Beer (705 SE Park Crest) at 6 PM on Saturday, October 3, with a listening party and the game set up to play at the brewery!

The whole project brings music, indie gaming and Vancouver craft beer together for one release.
