The Sounds of Freedom will again ring in Hazel Dell as the 57th annual Hazel Dell Parade of Bands returns with 25 local bands, parade floats, classic vehicles and much, much more.
The Hazel Dell Salmon Creek Business Association is presenting the 2023 Hazel Parade of Bands. It will be held on Sat., May 20. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m.

If you or your group would like to be a part of the fun, registration forms are available at HDSCBA.org or at Clark County District 6, 8800 NE Hazel Dell Avenue.
The theme this year is “Sounds of Freedom”, and the Grand Marshals will be Lt. Colonel Bob Knight ret. and Lt. Colonel Royce Pollard ret. They are past Commanders of Vancouver Barracks.

Important logistical note
Several roads will be closed for the parade. Starting at 8 a.m. Hazel Dell Avenue will be closed from 78th to 99th Streets. At 10 a.m. 63rd Street from Hazel Dell Avenue to Highway 99 will be closed, as well as Highway 99 from 63rd Street to 78th Street. Highway 99 will reopen at 1 p.m.
