Closure was necessary to allow crews to perform soil stabilization and roadway improvements in the area
VANCOUVER – A road closure on Northeast Blair Road has been extended 10 days to allow crews to complete work on the roadway improvement project.
Contractor crews working for Clark County Public Works closed the roadway just southeast of the Northeast Blair Road and Northeast Zeek Road intersection on July 26. The closure was necessary to allow crews to perform soil stabilization and roadway improvements in the area. The roadway was originally scheduled to reopen on Fri., Sept. 20, but unpredictable inclement weather delayed the work.
Local access will continue to be maintained for residents along Northeast Blair Road throughout the project area. A signed detour will remain in place during the closure and will require drivers to use adjacent roads.
Drivers should expect intermittent delays while the closure is in effect.
