VANCOUVER — The weather outside is frightful, but the Firstenburg Community Center pool is always delightful. Community center passholders and visitors can dive into 2020 with extended public swim hours through Sun., Jan. 5, 2020. The Firstenburg Community Center pool is an aquatic playground that includes a lazy river, Clark County’s longest water slide, kid-friendly zero-depth entry and three lanes for lap swimming. The 80,000 gallon pool is Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible and maintains a temperature of 86 degrees. The Firstenburg Community Center spa is kept at 101 degrees and is open to swimmers ages 16 and over.
Visitors may use the Firstenburg pool for a drop in fee:
- Ages 0-3: Free
- Ages 4-18: $5
- Ages 19-64: $8
- Ages 65 and older: $6
Public swims are always free to Firstenburg passholders. Marshall Community Center passholders also have free access to the Firstenburg pool through Jan. 5, while the Marshall pool is closed for maintenance.
