This location is currently the most congested highway intersection in Clark County
VANCOUVER — Community members are invited to attend an open house Wednesday, May 29, to learn the results of a planning study for improvements at the intersection of State Route 500 and NE Fourth Plain Boulevard.
This location is currently the most congested highway intersection in Clark County. In coordination with local partners, the Washington State Department of Transportation is completing a study to identify possible solutions to improve safety, mobility and travel reliability in the corridor. The study has identified a range of possible improvement options to address traffic issues in the area.
The list of potential intersection updates will help narrow down options when funding becomes available. Operational changes such as signal adjustment are also possible in the near term with help from local partners.
