Community Development Director Erin Erdman appointed as acting city manager
BATTLE GROUND — Jeff Swanson has resigned as Battle Ground’s city manager, effective Oct. 22.
According to a press release from the city of Battle Ground, Swanson resigned to pursue other opportunities.
“Jeff remains committed to ensuring a smooth transition of his responsibilities as city manager and plans to continue to working in cooperation with the city to ensure that there will be no interruption of any city operations for the citizens of Battle Ground,’’ the release stated. “Jeff enjoyed working with the community and city staff in Battle Ground and wishes everyone the best.’’
The Battle Ground City Council has appointed city of Battle Ground Community Development Director Erin Erdman to serve as acting city manager. Erdman will continue to serve as community development director as well.
