VANCOUVER — As more employers seek workers in the Pacific Northwest, Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, has announced she will hold her eighth annual Southwest Washington Jobs Fair on Tue., May 29.

The fair will be held at Warehouse ‘23 in Vancouver and will come one week after a separate job hunting workshop scheduled for Mon., May 21, at the Vancouver Community Library.
The event is free and open to all southwest Washington residents. It will include employers from a variety of industries. A list of employers and open positions will be posted to jhb.house.gov prior to the event.
“More and more employers are hiring right now, and I’ve been talking to a lot of folks who are eager to get back to work and find better-paying jobs. It’s my honor to help,” Herrera Beutler said in a press release. “I’m happy to once again host this jobs fair for Southwest Washington residents and look forward to the connections that will come about as a result.”
The jobs fair will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tue., May 29, at Warehouse ‘23, 100 Columbia St. #102, Vancouver. Employers interested in participating are asked to contact Pam Peiper at (360) 695-6292.
The Southwest Washington Job Hunting Workshop will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Mon., May 21, at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., Vancouver. The workshop will include a panel of experts offering advice on looking for a job and writing resumes.
