Gubernatorial candidate to hold meet and greet event in Vancouver

VANCOUVER — Washington gubernatorial candidate Loren Culp will hold a meet and greet event Sun., March 8 at the Marshall Center in Vancouver.

Culp, a Republican, is a veteran of the U.S. Army. After his military service, he was a small business owner for more than 20 years. He is currently the chief of police in Republic, Washington.

A VIP event will be held from 5:30-6 p.m. that will allow a small group to talk with the candidate, get a signed copy of his book American Cop, a yard sign, water bottle, key chain and other items. A free general admission event will be held from 6-7 p.m. Culp has indicated that he will speak with those in attendance about what he plans to do to help steer the state back to “common sense’’ government in Olympia.
