Clark County hiring managers who are looking to hire 50-and-older job seekers will be on hand
VANCOUVER — Clark County hiring managers who are looking to hire job seekers in the 50-and-older age group will be on hand at a Job Fair hosted by Goodwill Industries next week.
The event will take place on Wed., May 8, from noon-3:30 p.m. at Adventist Community Church, located at 9711 SE St. John Road, in Vancouver. For those who haven’t pre-registered, registration at the event begins at 11:30 a.m.
In addition to the Job Fair, the event will include workshops on how to interview with a millennium and how to update your resume.
In two prior events in Vancouver last spring and summer, nearly 200 people attended.
Those seeking opportunities to supplement their income with full- or part-time employment can brush up on their job search skills with quick, focused 30-minute workshops like Modernizing your Resume and How to interview with a Millennial. The Job Fair and workshops are free.
