Area cat rescue hosting ‘Hairy Pawter’ online auction
VANCOUVER — Furry Friends is hosting its 12th annual auction fundraiser. Volunteers of the organization made the decision to switch to an online auction this year, which will be held through Sept. 19.
There will be lots of great items for area residents to bid on. Those interested can check out the items as they are being loaded into the site. Items are available at www.32auctions.com/Hairypawter2020.
The festivities will end on Sat., Sept. 19 at 9 p.m. Winning bids can be picked up at a Salmon Creek location on Sun., Sept. 20, noon to 5 p.m. or Mon., Sept. 21 from 4-7 p.m. Volunteers can deliver to some local Clark County and Portland Metro addresses or other arrangements can be made and gift certificates can be mailed to people.
The auction has a Hairy Pawter theme to it. Fans of the Harry Potter series, will likely find items of interest. All proceeds from the event will go towards Furry Friends’ ever-increasing medical costs and operating budget for the kitties. Furry Friends is an all-volunteer organization, the cats get all the finances.
