Screenings based on factors including age, income, and health insurance status
VANCOUVER — The Kearney Breast Center at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center will provide free breast health screenings for qualifying women. The screenings will be coordinated through the Washington Department of Health’s Breast Cervical and Colon Health program.
Who is eligible?
This program provides free cancer screenings based on factors including age, income, and health insurance status. The eligibility requirements to receive free clinical breast exams and 3-D digital screening are:
- Female age 40+
- Have no current breast concerns
- Live in Washington
- Qualify through the Breast, Cervical, and Colon Health Program
When: Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Kearney Breast Center at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center – 200 NE Mother Joseph Place, Suite 420; Vancouver, WA
To pre-enroll, call 800-992-1817, extension #1. Please be prepared to provide:
- Monthly household income
- Social security number
- Date of birth
Refreshments will be served, and interpreters will be available. Women with health insurance are welcome to participate, and the Kearney Breast Center will bill your health insurance provider.
