Event will include an appearance by Guest Speaker Elena Slivnyak of 2012 Project Runway
VANCOUVER — High-end Fashion Designer Elena Slivnyak will be the guest speaker at Columbia River Mental Health Foundation’s The Future is Bright! Gala and Fundraiser at Warehouse ’23 from 6-9 p.m. on Fri., May 3.
Elena’s avant-garde fashion brand IIMUAHII [Pronounced “Eee-mooah-eee”] is adored by Lady Gaga, Debby Harry, Tyra Banks, Annie Clark and others, reaching its peak when her custom designs made their debut on the silver screen, in the Hunger Games Mockinjay: Part 1 film and were featured in 2012’s televised “Project Runway.”
Elena’s passion for behavioral health, and her ready-to-wear line, MYKRISTI, was inspired by the loss of her sister. Come hear her story and stories of hope and healing from staff and clients of Columbia River Mental Health Services.
This is a ticketed gala: Tickets and tables available for purchase at the Foundation’s website: http://crmhfoundation.org/spring-2019-gala/
Columbia River Mental Health Foundation helps to enhance the wide range of programs and services delivered through Columbia River Mental Health Services (CRMHS) to the over 5,700 individuals of all ages that they serve each year. Our mission is to widen the accessibility of behavioral health treatment, to remove the negative stigma, and to financially support the work that CRMHS is doing within our community by reducing the financial barriers to behavioral health treatment.
Funds raised by the Foundation are targeted at improving the lives of adults and children who are receiving services for behavioral health treatment, but who struggle to meet other life needs that their public or private health plans do not cover.
Without this additional support, many recipients of mental health and chemical dependency services struggle to complete their treatment programs and to remain healthy and in recovery.
