Deceased victim of shooting at Teal Pointe Apartments identified as 22-year-old Dayton Miller
VANCOUVER — A homicide investigation is underway into a death that took place at the Teal Pointe Apartments, located at 10405 NE 9th Ave.
On Monday at 1:48 a.m., Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Teal Pointe Apartments on the report of a possible suicide. After further investigation, it was determined this was a homicide investigation.
Clark County Major Crimes Team investigated and 20-year-old Korbin Bourn was taken into custody and booked for Manslaughter I and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
On Tuesday, the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased victim as 22-year-old Dayton Miller, a resident of Vancouver. The cause of death was reported as a gunshot wound of the head.
