Bobby Crist, 64, jumped from the second tier floor of his jail housing according to Clark County Sheriff’s Office report
VANCOUVER — A 64-year-old inmate in the Clark County Jail has died after what the Clark County Sheriff’s Office reports was a suicide.
At 5:06 a.m. on Sunday (March 22) inmate Bobby B. Crist jumped from the second floor tier of his jail housing unit to the concrete floor below in an apparent suicide attempt. Corrections staff immediately notified nurses assigned to the jail and they responded to assist and access Crist.
Crist was transported to a local hospital by ambulance and treated for his injuries. According to the Medical Examiner’s Office, Crist succumbed to his injuries on Sunday (March 22) at 8:51 a.m.
According to the Clark County Jail roster, Crist was booked into the jail on March 16 for Assault II-Domestic Violence involving strangulation.
