A study will focus on whether people in Vancouver and Clark County are unjustly being denied housing based on race, ethnicity, family status, disability status, or a number of other factors
VANCOUVER — The city of Vancouver and Clark County are partnering to conduct a study about the barriers people face when trying to rent or purchase housing locally. Specifically, the study will focus on whether people in Vancouver and Clark County are unjustly being denied housing based on race, ethnicity, family status, disability status, or a number of other factors.
To help inform the study and determine how best to use City and county housing resources, City and county residents are being invited to share their experiences in an online survey at https://bit.ly/2UcRRfW. Spanish and Russian translations of the survey are also available.
More information about fair housing can be found on the City and county’s websites at www.cityofvancouver.us/ced/page/fair-housing or www.clark.wa.gov/community-services/fair-housing.
