Battle Ground Police Department seeks public’s help in Kubota excavator theft

Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen a truck with a flatbed with the Kubota Excavator on it on the afternoon of June 23

BATTLE GROUND — In the mid-afternoon of Sun., June 23, a Kubota Excavator valued at $65,000 was stolen from a construction site just south of the Cedars Golf Course clubhouse located at NE 152nd Ave and NE 181st St.

In the mid-afternoon of Sun., June 23, a Kubota Excavator valued at $65,000 was stolen from a construction site just south of the Cedars Golf Course clubhouse located at NE 152nd Ave and NE 181st St.

Battle Ground Police Officers investigating the theft believe the excavator was hauled away by a pickup truck pulling a flatbed trailer between approximately 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. that Sunday afternoon.   

Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen a truck with a flatbed with the Kubota Excavator on it (or without) during that timeframe in the general area.   The subject vehicle is believed to have traveled on NE 152nd Ave along the golf course and likely approached the intersection of 159th St and 152nd Ave.   

Officers are also interested in any security video from neighboring residents that may have captured an image of the vehicle. Please help us return this equipment to its owner, and bring the thief(s) to justice.

The Kubota Excavator is a 2018 model with serial number 31563 and engine serial number 7JM7983.
