VANCOUVER — Area business leaders are invited to learn how to refine and focus your marketing efforts at Washington State University Vancouver’s next Business Growth MAP Alliance forum. The event will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. June 19 at the Columbia Bank Community Room, 101 E. Sixth St., Vancouver.
The forum will discuss target marketing, market segmentation, market profile dimensions and marketing mix to help business owners develop a well-coordinated marketing strategy. This is the first forum in MAP Alliance’s three-part marketing series, which will continue through September.
This month’s speaker, Douglas Steck, has more than 25 years of executive experience in creating organizational vision, shaping corporate growth initiatives and driving customer-focused delivery. He has held CEO, COO, CFO, CIO and sales positions in companies ranging from IBM to small startups, across multiple industry sectors and with international responsibility. Currently, Steck is an instructor in management at WSU Vancouver.
The forum is open to all. Register online at business.vancouver.wsu.edu/bgmap and click the link under “Upcoming events.” Cost is $10 per person in advance or $15 per person at the door. There is no cost for students with a valid WSU student ID.
