Unusual sweep for Fall Home Show Award winners

Cascade West Development and Generation Homes Northwest come away with the honors from the 40th annual NW Natural Parade of Homes

VANCOUVER — The Building Industry Association of Clark County (BIA) bestowed awards for the NW Natural Parade of Homes and the Columbia Credit Union Remodeled Homes Tour at last week’s monthly dinner meeting hosted at the Heathman Lodge.

Cascade West Development has been a mainstay at the annual NW Natural Parade of Homes in recent years, participated in five straight events. It was a highly unusual outcome for the NW Natural Parade of Home awards with two companies splitting the 18 prizes up for grabs. In fact, the results for Industry Awards and People’s Choice awards were identical for eight of the nine categories.

“Both the NW Natural Parade of Homes and the Columbia Credit Union Remodeled Homes Tour successfully showcased the high-caliber work of our members. We appreciated the community’s enthusiastic support of these signature BIA events,” shared BIA President Aaron Marvin. “It’s always fun to see which projects catch the eye of voters and the participants were definitely enjoying the friendly competition this year!”
