The new branch experience includes bankers equipped with mobile tablets to help customers throughout the many spaces of the branch, including customer support stations that provide space for one-on-one conversations and replace the common teller lines
U.S. Bank announced the grand re-opening of its Fisher’s Landing branch in Vancouver located at 16415 SE McGillivray Blvd which underwent an extensive remodel bringing a new look and feel along with award-winning design enhancements to improve the banking experience for local customers.
The new branch experience includes bankers equipped with mobile tablets to help customers throughout the many spaces of the branch, including customer support stations that provide space for one-on-one conversations and replace the common teller lines. The branch also features engagement areas that provide a space for more in-depth conversations and a branch café with coffee and additional beverages for customers.
“Our new branch concepts allow us to focus on relationships and leverage our new digital tools to complete traditional branch transactions, all with the help of a banker if it’s needed,” said Lance Rudge, Portland market leader for consumer and business banking at U.S. Bank. “Customers will notice the difference as soon as they walk in. We’ve created a space that really allows our customers to bank when, where and how they want, and it allows us as bankers to have deeper conversations about our customers’ financial goals.”
An in-lobby interactive teller machine (ITM) is available for “one stop banking” where customers can cash checks with their choice of denominations, make deposits, pay accounts online and more.
Staff are also available to share the latest banking technologies with customers. U.S. Bank’s award-winning mobile app and online banking include features such as new personalized insights to make managing money easier, the U.S. Bank Smart Assistant to make getting what you need a few words away, a live video to see the banker you are speaking with, and more.
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the branch incorporates design changes focused on protecting the health of customers and employees, including plexiglass barriers and anti-microbial surfaces, and signage to encourage social distancing. The branch also has a full-service drive-up and ATMs.
To celebrate the remodeled branch, U.S. Bank is donating $5,000 to the YWCA of Clark County whose mission is to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
In addition to the Fisher’s Landing branch remodel, U.S. Bank plans to remodel its Andresen branch (7003 NE 40th St.) and open a new branch in Portland (1810 SW 5th Ave.) by early next year.
