The Andresen branch marks the bank’s second major reinvestment in the Vancouver area, following the recent extensive remodel of the Fisher’s Landing branch last year.
U.S. Bank is celebrating the grand re-opening of its remodeled Andresen branch located at 7003 NE 40th St. in Vancouver.
The extensive remodel brings a new look and feel along with award-winning design enhancements to improve the banking experience for local customers. The Andresen branch marks the bank’s third major reinvestment in the Portland area, following the recent opening of new 4th and Montgomery branch in downtown Portland and extensive remodel of the Fisher’s Landing branch in Vancouver last year.
The new branch experience includes bankers equipped with mobile tablets to help customers throughout the many spaces of the branch, including customer support stations that provide space for one-on-one conversations and replace the common teller lines. The branch also features engagement offices that provide a space for more in-depth conversations and a branch café with coffee and additional beverages for customers, along with a community room that can be reserved through the branch manager.
“We are reinvesting in Vancouver because it’s an important community for us,” said Lance Rudge, Portland’s consumer and business banking leader at U.S. Bank. “The new branch experience focuses on our customers and making the banking experience easier and more personable. I think they’ll feel that when they walk through the doors.”
Two ATMs are available for “one stop banking” where customers can make deposits, get cash with their choice of denominations, pay accounts online and more (one ATM is located in the lobby, the other is accessible 24/7 at the front of the branch).
U.S. Bank customers can also take advantage of innovative digital products and services, such as U.S. Bank’s award-winning mobile app and online banking which include features such as new personalized insights to make managing money easier, the U.S. Bank Smart Assistant to make getting what you need a few words away, cobrowse with live video to see the banker you are speaking with, and more. The branch’s Digital Discovery area serves as a demonstration space for customers on the use of online and mobile technologies.
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the branch incorporates design changes focused on protecting the health of customers and employees, including plexiglass barriers and anti-microbial surfaces, and signage to encourage social distancing. The branch also has a full-service drive-up and ATMs.
To celebrate the remodeled branch, U.S. Bank is donating $1,500 to the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools whose mission is to bring together the resources of the community to supplement and enhance student achievement.
In addition to the Andresen branch remodel, last year U.S. Bank also remodeled its Fisher’s Landing branch (16415 SE McGillivray Blvd) and opened a new branch in Portland (1810 SW 5th Ave.).
