When ClarkCountyToday.com met with Forged Custom Homes builder Morall Olson on the opening day of this year’s Parade of Homes, Olson marveled at the views offered in the master bedroom.

“It’s got a commanding view of the Columbia River,’’ Olson said. “(The master bedroom) basically has a 360-degree view all the way around the bedroom. That’s got to be one of my favorites.’’

Olson then added, “and then just the character, the home itself, it’s just kind of a fresh, French country look with the red terra cotta and red tile roof.’’

Olson also pointed out another highlight of the home, the kitchen.

“We were able to take some beams out and open it up, so that it was an open concept,’’ Olson said of the kitchen. “And again, it just has another commanding view out of that room as well.’’
