The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire
RIDGEFIELD — A fire in Ridgefield Monday morning did considerable damage to cars and other vehicles.
Emergency crews were dispatched at 8:15 a.m. Monday to 19515 NE 10th Avenue in Clark County on the report of a motorhome or trailer on fire. The caller stated that propane tanks were exploding and that nearby cars and a boat were catching fire.
The first Clark County Fire & Rescue fire engine arrived seven minutes later to find a 32-foot 5th-wheel style travel trailer fully involved in fire. In addition, a nearby fiberglass boat was catching fire. Two automobiles and a motorhome were also damaged by the fire.
An additional fire engine and a water tender were called to assist with the incident. The water tender carries 2,500 gallons of water to use for extinguishment. No structures were involved in this fire. No injuries have been reported.
